Ministry of Mercy Orphanage's branch in Lakoja. Children birth to two years old are looked after here. Once they turn two, they are transferred to Otutulu (approximately two hours drive). The orphanage is currently renting an old hotel. Aunties care so beautifully for the children despite the many time-consuming chores: no running water (water is carried in buckets from a well), no washers (laundry is done by hand and takes a few days to dry because of the humidity) and cooking over open fire in one of the rooms.
